Calvary Hill 10-25-2013-2 Calvary Hill 10-25-2013-1

I did my usual four-hour bike-hike-bike pilgrimage yesterday to Calvary Hill, Arizona. The air was clear and the views pretty from the ~2,500 ft elevation.

The temperature was 93F but it did not feel that hot. Relative to some other times I have climbed the McDowell Mtns, this was a fairly easy hike. The fact that I only lost 3.5 pounds doing it attests to it (I have been known to lose more than six pounds when the temperature is over 105F).

It felt good to do such a Yang activity in between the recordings of such a Yin-piece as “The Swan” is.
