OUR OWL TREE, PHANTOM EMPANADAS

IMG_2774

The number of owls in our neighborhood has multiplied. We now have a number of them nesting on our tree. How many do you see? (^O^)

They may have been attracted by the first owl in six years that landed here on Sep21 (GIANT OWL, HARBINGER OF BIG CHANGES, RETURNS TO EAGLE’S NEST).  Looks like these ones are here to stay… 🙂

Our giant owl returned again on Oct 13. Which is what inspired me to invite the flock of permanent ones to our tree stump.

Meanwhile, as I was recording my Halloween “Phantom of the Opera” treat this weekend, Elizabeth was creating some kitchen artwork right next to her Jacaranda painting.

The empanadas (turnovers) tasted great. We recommend you add the Phantom sound to the recipe. 🙂

^O^ANSWER: 5 (but 7 if you also count the owl shadows)
