CATCHING “THE BAT” IN TUCSON ALONG WITH TWO HIKES

I am just back from a quick trip to Tucson. I caught there “The Bat” and two short hikes in the last 24 hours.

“The Bat,” of course, is the Johann Strauss opera at the Crowder Theater of the University of Arizona. The two hikes were the sunset hike in the Sabino Canyon and a morning hike up the the Ventana Canyon. I have not done the latter in over 11 years. So it was an interesting refresher about how challenging and interesting it is.
