We sang, we ate, we danced, we played, we prayed, we laughed… Boy did we ever laugh. Till it hurt. 🙂 How much more fun can a party be?
The Sunday Dec 8-event started out being my “going away” party which Elizabeth wanted to throw for me. All of her Arizona children and grandchildren, along with their mates, were invited.
In the end, it turned out to be a lot more than just my “going away” party. We celebrated St Nicholas Serbian “Slava” Day early. And we we also threw in the Christmas party theme and songs. We played games, sang songs, and laughed ourselves silly.
Perhaps the most wonderful gift from the Spirit was to have Theresa with us on this occasion. And to see her in such high spirits. She has been making an amazing progress in recovery from her aneurism and brain surgery that followed on Nov 19. She even unselfishly asked for prayers for her friend who is now in a hospital expecting twins.
But don’t take my word for any of it. You’ll get a chance to see Theresa and all other family members in action – in the 10-minute film that follows below.
