AT THE OPERA: “LA TRAVIATA” IN PHOENIX

This may not be obvious to most of you, but the main reason Elizabeth and I returned to Arizona at this particular time was so we could attend a performance of Verdi’s “La Traviata” at the Phoenix Symphony Hall on Mar 1.

That performance took place last night. And these are some of the photos from that operatic evening.   It was marvelous.

What made it also unusual was that it was raining. And we don’t even own an umbrella here in the desert. 🙂 It was the first serious rain the Valley of the Sun has had since Nov 22, when were also here,
