CHRISTMAS ON LABOR DAY

BANANAS ALSO GO INTO LABOR AT THE RAINBOW SHOWER

You can see from these photos that Christmas has come early this year to the Rainbow Shower.  Labor Day, to be exact. 🙂  You can see Elizabeth and me posing with the branches of the Podocarpus trees that we had had trimmed today.

Guess someone forgot to send a memo to the Rainbow Shower that Labor Day is about R&R – relaxation and recreation.  Because both people and nature went into heavy labor today.  And at that, in 93F very humid weather!  I lost four pounds in three hours even after drinking more than a gallon of water during my Labor Day labor.

Not to be left out, one of our banana trees decided to go into labor today as well. This is the first fruit we are getting from our banana grove this summer.  Thank you!  Mahalo!

Happy Labor Day!
