Well, this is not the way Chicago likes to present itself. But it is the reality of what America’s second largest city looked on Columbus Day 2014, Mon Oct 13. It’s famous skyline was wiped out by fog. Intermittent rain kept the streets wet and shiny.


Yet the inclement weather did not stop us from enjoying a brief visit to downtown Chicago, including a walk to and from its well-known Navy Pier.
