CHAMBER MUSIC EVENING IN SCOTTSDALE

Last night, Elizabeth and I spent a delightful evening at a chamber music concert given by the string section of the Phoenix Symphony. They played the works of Mendelssohn, Bach and Tchaikovsky.

The lead violinist and conductor, German-born Steven Moeckel, was Souls-Enshrinedoutstanding. If click on this link, you’ll be able to hear one of his virtuoso violin performances. He is accompanied here by Paula Fan, an accomplished pianist with the Tucson Symphony and professor of music at University of Arizona in Tucson.

During the intermission, we checked out the “Spy Studio” of the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts where I hooked up with this lanky security guard. 🙂
