“THAIS MEDITATION” BY JULES MASSENET IN ALTZAR’S INTERPRETATION

It is becoming a familiar pattern. My Spirit guides download a piece of music to me, usually in dreamtime. The music grabs me like a python and won’t let go of its stranglehold until I record it. At first, I have no idea what it is but feel compelled to play it.

During the time of gestation and bondage, the piece possess me completely. It plays non-stop during all my waking hours. And probably in dreamtime, too. I can’t shake it no matter what I try. The only salvation is an eventual recording.

Well, that’s what happened with Jules Massenet’s “Thais Meditation” after we returned from Australia. I started hearing the piece on the flight over. It was on March 1 that I finally identified it and downloaded the sheet music.
